STORY
1. BEGINNINGS AND REALIZATION
In 2014, my life hit a turning point. On paper, I had it all—an MBA, a green card, and a successful career with a Fortune 500 company. But inside, I felt empty.
That year, my world changed forever. My mother was battling cancer, and witnessing her suffering forced me to confront a hard truth: I wasn’t living a life of meaning. I had checked all the boxes society laid out for me, yet I felt lost.
With death’s certainty, I realized I couldn’t continue living without clarity. I needed to understand how I could leave a legacy that mattered.
2. STARTING A BUSINESS
Tired of going through the motions, I made a life-changing decision: to listen to my intuition for the first time.
In February 2015, I completed formal training with the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and launched my executive coaching and consulting business. For the first time, I aligned my heart with my actions. It was as if I had finally stepped into who I was meant to be.
This wasn’t just a business—it was a calling.
3. THE MOMENT THAT CHANGED THINGS
The path to purpose wasn’t smooth. The early years as an entrepreneur were filled with struggle. Financial stress, sleepless nights, and moments of self-doubt tested my resilience.
I had poured everything into my business, yet I felt like I was falling short. I know many of you have been there, too—that feeling of giving your all but not seeing the results you crave.
So why didn’t I give up? Because my vision wasn’t just about me. It was about the impact I wanted to create in the world. It was about helping other professionals find their own clarity and fulfillment. That’s what kept me going.
4. LISTENING AND TRANSFORMATION
The breakthrough came when I realized this: clarity is power.
When I let go of fear and aligned my business vision with my life purpose, things began to change. I committed to:
- Mastering my mindset and silencing self-doubt.
- Building a brand that reflected my mission.
- Surrounding myself with people who lifted me higher.
- Taking bold, aligned action toward my goals.
This journey taught me that purpose and profitability can coexist—and that real success comes when your business reflects who you truly are.
5. A PURPOSEFUL,RESILIENT AND DISCERNING BUSINESS
By 2016, everything clicked. My first book, 'Live With Purpose,' became an Amazon international best-seller in multiple countries and across multiple business categories. It was more than a book—it was a message that resonated with senior executive leaders and business owners.
The success of my book ignited a ripple effect. It inspired new programs, services, and speaking engagements—all designed to help others lead with purpose, resilience, and impact.
Looking back, I realize that my mother’s passing wasn’t just a loss—it was a catalyst. It gave me the clarity I needed to step into my life’s work.
6. SCALING UP AND MAKING AN IMPACT
By 2017, my work reached new heights. My book and programs became part of the curriculum at California State University, where I now teach Leadership and Entrepreneurship.
- Be featured in leading publications like Forbes, Entrepreneur, Success Magazine, Thrive Global, and The Huffington Post.
- Host workshops, masterminds, and business events that inspire transformation.
- Share stages with global leaders like Larry King, Simon Sinek, Chef Eric Ripert, and The Mayor of Beverly Hills.
These opportunities weren’t just achievements—they were confirmations that aligning your business vision and life purpose purpose creates extraordinary results.
7. THE GIVING BACK
Today, my mission is clear: to empower business owners and senior executives to lead with purpose, resilience, and discernment.
Through the Nathalie Virem Foundation 501(c)(3), I’ve created a platform to give back. We host events and raise funds for leadership programs that foster conscious, purpose-driven business ownership.
Our efforts have been recognized with Certificates of Recognition from the State of California and the City of Los Angeles for our dedication to strengthening local economies and creating meaningful impact.
But this isn’t about me. It’s about all of us—the business leaders, the visionaries, the change-makers. Together, we have the power to create businesses that don’t just succeed but also make the world better.
